Be useful to Greenwich readers before you ask for placement.
Greenwich Insider is the curated guide people open to make a local decision: where to book after-school pickup, who to call before a summer house project, what to check before taking guests to the Avenue, or whether a service really covers their side of town. If your business answers one of those moments well, a clear listing reaches that reader while they are still deciding, not after.
Where this stands today: the broad directory is still in review, so a request is a request to be considered — not an automatic slot. Profile requests, corrections, sponsorship questions, and visibility-audit questions are all welcome. Unlabeled rankings and mass-imported listings are not.
Who Greenwich Insider reaches
The guides are built for people who are about to hire, book, or shop locally: Greenwich residents, families who just moved up from the city and are wiring a whole household at once, homeowners lining up trades before a season, parents sorting school-week logistics, and weekend visitors planning a day. They land here already looking — searching "best X in Greenwich," reading a neighborhood guide, or checking what is on this weekend — not being interrupted by an ad they did not ask for.
A curated listing helps home and property services, wellness and fitness, restaurants and cafés, boutiques, and professional services most. A clear, accurate profile gives a reader the few facts they need to act — what you are good for, where you fit, what to verify first — instead of guessing from a thin search result.
How it works
From your email to a listing, in four steps.
Step 1
You tell us about the business
Send the business name, category, neighborhood or service area, website, and one real situation a Greenwich reader would be in when they need you. The contact buttons below pre-fill those fields so you are not starting from a blank email.
Step 2
We check the basics
We look at your own links — address, hours, booking, menu, services, credentials — to confirm a reader could act on the listing. If a detail is unclear, we may ask a follow-up before anything goes public.
Step 3
A curated listing or profile goes up
When the fit is clear, we write a short, honest entry that says who you are good for and what to check before booking. It links to your own site as the source of truth and carries a last-verified date and a correction path.
Step 4
You keep it accurate
Moved, changed hours, dropped a service, or expanded your area? Email us and we fix it. Corrections are free and we want them — a stale listing helps no one.
What to expect
Free now, disclosed if it ever becomes paid.

What you can get right now
A curated listing, when there is reader value. A short profile that helps someone decide — not a scraped row in a mass directory. We are still building categories carefully, so a request is a request to be considered, not an automatic slot.
Suggest-a-business and corrections. Tell us you exist, nominate a business you trust, or flag something wrong on a page. Closed locations, stale hours, ownership changes, and service-area changes all get fixed at no charge.
A link to your own site as the source. Every listing points back to the business-owned page for hours, menus, booking, and policies, so readers act on your information, not a copy that drifts out of date.
Paid, later
What paid visibility will mean
Featured or sponsored placement — clearly labeled. A visible "Sponsored" or "Featured" label, tied to a guide whose readers actually fit — a homeowner guide for a contractor, a dining guide for a restaurant. The label stays put and never gets dressed up as an editorial pick.
Sponsorship priced by conversation, not posted here. We are not publishing a rate card yet. Ask about sponsorship and we will tell you what is available, what it costs, and whether the reader fit is honest enough to be worth it for you.
A separate AxyTech services lane. AxyTech, which operates Greenwich Insider, also handles visibility-audit inquiries: website clarity, Google Business Profile basics, local landing pages, schema, citations, and how AI answer engines describe you. That is a service relationship, kept separate from any editorial listing.
What we will never do
The whole point of a curated guide is that a reader can trust it. That only holds if money cannot quietly buy its way into the recommendations, so these lines stay fixed:
No pay-to-rank. You cannot buy a spot in a "best of" guide or a higher position in a list. Paid visibility sits beside the editorial picks with a label, never inside the ranking.
No fake reviews or invented results. We do not write reviews, post star ratings, or quote outcomes a business cannot back up. We have not built a reviews system and will not fake one.
No undisclosed placement. If money changed hands, the page says so plainly. A disclosed ad next to honest editorial is fair; a hidden one is not.
No mass-imported listings. We would rather have a smaller set of profiles a reader can trust than a scraped directory nobody believes.
Three ways in
Pick the option that fits what you need.
Profile review
Ask to be considered for a curated listing
Best if you want accurate, useful context on the site. We confirm the basics from your own links, write the entry, and add a last-verified date and a correction path before it goes public.
For a business that wants more reach than a standard listing. Placement is disclosed, tied to a real reader need, and priced in conversation — it never buys a "best" claim or a higher rank.
A service from AxyTech, separate from editorial: a look at your website clarity, Google Business Profile, local landing pages, schema, citations, and how AI answer engines describe your business.
The more concrete your email, the faster we can tell whether a reader would find you useful and what the next step is. Tell us about your business and we will follow up — there is no form to fill out and no charge to ask. Please include:
Business name and category
Greenwich neighborhood or service area
Your website (and booking, menu, or services link if separate)
What you want: a profile review, a sponsorship question, or a visibility audit
One real reader situation you fit — the moment someone would actually need you
Anything a reader should verify first (seasonal hours, appointment-only, lead times)
Send it to [email protected]. The link opens a draft with those fields already laid out, so you can fill in the blanks and hit send.
